The 2025 Bach & Boogie Winter Cohort

Learn to lead a weekly baby-and-senior music class — together, with friendly guidance.

What it is

Bach & Boogie is a joyful music & movement class for ages 0–4, hosted inside senior living communities. This winter, we’re teaching a small group of new facilitators how to bring that magic to their own towns — through a simple, supportive cohort experience.

Who joins? Parents with young kids, retired teachers/musicians, college students, and community builders who love music and people.

FAQs

Do I need to be a musician?

No. Warmth and presence matter most. We’ll show you a simple 3-minute activity you can lead each week.

How much time will this take?

December: ~1–2 hours/week to prep. Once live: ~1 hour to run class + light promotion.

Where do classes happen?

Inside a local senior living community. We’ll share scripts and approach tips for activity staff.

Can I start with a free class?

Yes — free or half-session pilots are encouraged to help new homes say yes.

Is this a franchise?

No. It’s a light annual license with shared materials and community support.

Will I need a background check?

Some homes require one. We align to each host’s policies and support you through that process when needed.

Do I need insurance?

Yes — most facilitators carry a simple general liability policy (about $200–$250/year). It protects you when working inside senior homes and is a standard part of running any class-based program. We’ll point you to easy, affordable options during onboarding.

About your host

Alex (founder & facilitator) hosts the cohort calls and shares the playbook used in Providence and Melrose, with an occasional guest visit from Melrose class leader George.
