Bach & Boogie at Tockwotton on the Waterfront

A joyful music class for babies and toddlers (ages 0–4), where families and seniors share music together inside a warm waterfront community.

About the Class

Bach & Boogie is a joyful music class designed for babies, toddlers, and their grown-ups — held inside a senior living community where children and elders share the magic of music together.

Each class is an exciting musical journey through four moods: Allegro (happy), Largo (calm), Vivace (fast), and Boogie! (dance).

At Tockwotton, the music fills a room shared by little ones and residents alike — and that's where the magic happens. Sharing music with our older friends is at the heart of every class.

About the Facilitator

Hi, I'm Alex — founder of Bach & Boogie.

I’ve been around music my whole life. I started piano as a kid through the Suzuki method, with my mom sitting beside me through years of practice and my dad quietly listening from the couch.

Years later, when my daughter Shaiya was a baby, I started playing with her in my arms. She’d reach for the high-contrast keys. Around the same time, my wife Lexi had the idea to bring this kind of music experience into senior communities — and everything clicked.

Bach & Boogie grew out of that. It’s a space where babies, parents, and seniors can share music together — where we can share joy across generations.

Why We Hold Classes in Senior Communities

Bach & Boogie classes take place inside senior living communities so that young children and elders can share the joy of music together.

Toddlers bring energy and curiosity. Seniors bring warmth and life experience. The result is something special — a room filled with music, smiles, and connection across generations.

Residents are always welcome to watch, clap, dance, or simply enjoy the music alongside families.
